I am sad to say that Bethersden Playschool will remain closed , after looking at all the requirements and guidance I have risk assessed the setting and feel it would be impossible to keep children and staff safe during the current virus outbreak and social distancing regulations. If you are a key worker and require childcare please call me on 07814976562. I am also happy to answer any other questions you may have regarding your children and Playschool. I am liaising with the primary school and we will be in touch with parents of rising 5 children shortly about how we help them transitioning to school. We will contact parents of children returning in September sometime in July to discuss sessions and settling back in etc.
I hope you have all enjoyed the festive period , and have not eaten and drunk to much! I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year !
Looking forward to see you all back at Playschool from Monday 6th January.
Just a quick reminder Staff will be wearing Christmas dressing up and jumpers for the last week of Term , we encourage the children to join us either in Christmas gear or their favourite dressing up.

We will be having a leaving party for the Rising Fives on Wednesday 17th July, on this afternoon we ask that the parent arrive 10 minutes earlier as we do a small presentation to the children to mark their time at playschool and we feel it is nice for the parents to take part.
For all parents of children who will remain with us for September please could you think about what sessions you would like, whether you would like to increase or change about. We will speak to you all individually to complete funding forms and session change forms.

I would like to say a big Thank You to Bethersden Pantomine Society for very kindly donating us some money for resources it is very much appreciated.
I would like to thank all my parents both past and present for all their support after the break in and vandalism at half term and all the generous donations of ride ons to replace the others taken at various other times. I am working on getting the outside of the building, where the chalk boards were riped off, tidied and repainted and the window re glazed as soon as possible. Fortunately none of these happenings have affected the children’s play and learning in anyway. Thank you all again Michaela
